I must say to anyone who is apprehensive about
engaging the services of a dog sitter/walker, that Scamps and Champs are by far
the best I have ever experienced. Having moved to the UK in 2010, it was
daunting to know where to start and find someone trustworthy and reliable to
look after Teddie. Fortunately I happened across Lesley and Scamps and
Champs when 'googling' the area for dog walkers.
Lesley, and latterly Carol, are two of the nicest ladies you could
meet and clearly love dogs passionately. They have never let me down and
are always keen to assist if you have important plans. As I can be in the
office all day I wanted the comfort of knowing that Teddie was getting
socialised with other dogs and receiving plenty of exercise but in a safe yet
fun environment. It has always been a pleasure to see
Teddie arrive home with muddy paws and ready for a snooze! She has a
better social life than I do!!
If I can sum up what Lesley and Carol do, Amazing! Thank you both!

I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with Scamps and Champs. The service is so professional but also very friendly. Memphis is not the easiest dog in the world and you handle her so well and always look after her and want the best experience possible for her. You take your own initiative to bring a harness and an extendable lead so if she cant go off lead she can still have fun and you even check the weather reports to check its not raining on the day of her walk (she does hate the rain, bless). I always come home to a happy, tired dog which is brilliant. I couldn’t ask for anything better, I only wish I could have you walk her every day! :) Thank you so so much.

I can't thank Scamps And Champs enough for looking after my dog during the holidays. He is normally depressed when we have been away, but with Scamps And Champs walking him every day and making sure he was looked after, we came back to a happy dog - thanks again!! I would just like to thank Scamps and Champs for walking both my dogs while me and my partner are at work during the week.
Both Phoebe and Lexi definitely benefit from the attention and we come home to less stressed and happy woofies :)
Also the benefit of having the girls looked after over weekends, holidays and when we need to pop out for the day is a bonus and i don't know what we've done without your help so far!!!

“Afterbeing let down by our previous dog sitter we where apprehensive in using another Dog Sitting / House Sitting service, but I have to say that we were both extremely impressed upon meeting Lesley. She immediately put us at ease with her professionalism and attitude towards all of our animals. "Having previously used another dogsitting agency and then being let down by them after booking our holiday (the sitter changing her mind!), I found Scamps and Champs.
From my initial telephone call, I was impressed by the services Scamps and Champs offered and Lesley made arrangements to meet our three dogs (Zack, a doby/lab, Minnie a staffie/whippet, and Star, a 10 stone mastiff - all three rescue dogs) along with the sitter, Amanda.
Ours wasn't a straightforward sit, as Zack has medical problems and Star, having had a horrendous start to her life still bears the mental scars and has high anxiety levels and a fear of strangers and new situations. Lesley and Amanda took all this in their stride and within minutes of meeting our dogs they were all relaxed; even Star which was amazing.
The standard of service was exemplary from the paperwork, including consent forms to administer medication, to the daily reports that we were given on return from our holiday and last but definitely not least; Amanda the sitter was fantastic, we can not praise her enough - kind and committed to caring for our dogs and their individual needs and the dogs adored her.
We will definitely use Scamps and Champs again.

I have been absolutely thrilled with the love, care and attention my crazy dog Archie receives from Scamps and Champs.
He is walked twice a week whilst I am at work and it is such a massive relief knowing he is exercised by someone who takes such wonderful care of him. I have seen some dog walking company's in action and I am so grateful to Amanda who I know goes above and beyond her role when looking after Archie.
Recently Amanda looked after Archie whilst we were away and my holiday was so much more enjoyable knowing he was in a safe and loving environment. When we picked him up it was clear he had had a fantastic time - no more kennels for him!

We have been using the services of Lesley at Scamps and Champs for several months now. We are delighted with the service and the care she takes with our dogs. Unlike some dog walkers, Scamps and Champs do not take the dogs on quick lead walks round the streets or to the nearest grassed area - they go for long, off lead walks and it shows when my two are still asleep when I get home from work! Lesley is honest, reliable and flexible. Overall a great service!

We are so pleased with we found Scamps and Champs. The way they cared for and looked after our rabbits, Dizzy and Rascal, is second to none. Lesley is such a genuine person and so obviously a true animal lover. We treat our animals as part of the family and they continued to live in the manner they are accustomed whilst we were away. Lesley even texted us to assure us they were fine, tell us what antics they had been up to and even let us know what they had for breakfast! We have used the service twice now and quite honestly would not use anyone else.

Scamps and Champs are excellent! We have used Scamps and Champs several times now and are extremely pleased with Lesley and her family. Prior to discovering S&C I found it very stressful going away on holiday because kennels are over-crowded, cold and lonely. With the folks at Scamps and Champs we are extremely satisfied in knowing that our dog is getting plenty of walks, personal attention, and love. They make Grunt feel like a part of the family and he has come home each time happily exhausted from all the fun and exercise. Lesley kept us updated with comforting messages of how Grunt was doing throughout our holiday so we could truly relax knowing he is in good hands!!

Hi to all who read this.
I have used Lesley for the last three times that I have been away. If you are like me leaving your best friend while you are away, this can be daunting. I have a King Charles called Mia and she is a proper softie, she fretted like mad in kennels and I said I could not leave her again then I found Lesley, my saviour ha.
I have left her there a few times now and Mia loves it, in fact i think she sulks for a bit when she first comes home. Mia loves Lesley's dogs and going swimming in the rivers with them. She sleeps with Lesley's kids, in fact they take it in turns whose turn it is. Lesley sends us pictures and emails to let us know how she is. The last time we left her we went away for a month and Mia wasn't bothered leaving us at all.
I would recommend Lesley to anyone who loves their pets and doesn't want them to fret. I will be using Scamps & Champs all the time from now on and nothing is a problem for Lesley she is very accommodating. I would only use her now as Mia would go mad if i kenneled her now after being so spoilt.
